Who I am
Full Time + is founded and edited by myself, Dorian Bensif, studying International Relations, Economics, and Law at ESADE Business & Law School. The project brings together academic interests in global politics, governance, and markets with a long-standing passion for football. It reflects a desire to explore the game not only as a sport, but as a space where international power, institutions, and economic forces increasingly intersect.

Why FULL TIME + Exists
Football has become one of the most visible arenas of global power. Decisions taken by governing bodies, states, investors, and institutions increasingly shape the game far beyond the pitch, yet most coverage remains focused on results and personalities. Full Time + exists to address this gap. We treat football as a political and economic space, where governance choices, financial structures, and strategic interests influence how the game is played, owned, and experienced worldwide.
How I Analyze Football
Our approach prioritizes context over immediacy and explanation over opinion. Rather than reacting to every headline, we focus on developments that reveal deeper structures of power in football. Our analysis draws on political economy, law, and international relations, while remaining accessible to informed readers. Editorial judgment determines what matters most each month, allowing us to publish fewer pieces with greater depth, clarity, and long-term relevance.
What I Cover
We focus on the forces that shape football beyond matchday. This includes governance and reform within institutions such as FIFA and UEFA, club ownership and investment models, financial regulation, and football’s role in diplomacy and soft power. We also examine legal disputes, sanctions, and structural inequalities within the global game. We do not publish match reports, transfer rumors, or fan rankings. If an issue does not affect power, governance, or influence, it is not our focus.
